I don't know what's wrong with my plants, but it seems like it's dying. Yesterday morning, while I watered my plants, I saw my veg whithered.
It's not only happening to my french bean but my mini rose too. How sad..........I wondered is it I over-watered the plants. I really don't know, but I've decided to take down the veg before all died.
Meanwhile, test & trial to see how I can resurrect my plants.....................

More veg.......
Wow I'm so excited, lot of freanch beans sprouting. But my fairy rose not much growth. Its still growing at its own slow pace.
Everyday I can spot new veg sprouting and those already grew grow even longer. I wonder can I add fertiliser. Better steer clear, wait all die again......
Now i'm pondering whether to grow herb, since quite a success, maybe can try different plantation.........
I'm proud of my accomplishment, and maybe can attempt other thing............

Bear fruit - French Bean
Hooray my french bean is bearing fruit. This morning I saw the first french bean, and lot of flowers growing.
I feel proud, with a strong sense of accomplishment. Even though, my fairy rose progress still abit slow, but it's growing bit by bit.
Finally, I have succeeded in planting, for now. I'm going to keep it up.................

Slow down...
How I wish my french bean can slow down its growth? They are growing too vigorously. Maybe should take some photos again to update....
Fairy rose is growing just fine. Somehow I know my preference, in the future I will not grow plant that vine around. It gives me a fair bit of problem, and I'm not mentally prepared for the mess.
Tomorrow after my practical test, I'm going to make a trip to Daiso. Learnt from sis that there's a gardening section, perhaps can find what I need, else really have to go Ikea...Poof, that's far...

Messy...
My french bean is growing abit too messy. It's seems like my poles are insufficient. I've to make time off duing weekend and go to Thomson Rd (alot of nursery) to look for solution. Else my plant going to grow "out of hand".
Thank goodness, fairy rose was ok, but cherry tomato officially declared unsucessful. We decided to grow flower instead, but have not decided which flower to grow. We shall decide that later.
I think the novelity wear off for the girls cos they weren't as excited as previously. Maybe when veg or flowers burst then the novelity set in again. For now, it's anticipating them to bear veg and flowers.
For me, I'm still the same, cos I'm the one looking after it.

More works.....

Wow I never thought planting can be challenging. Maybe for me, or maybe cos of the plant I chose.
Fairy rose relatively is easy. I just watered, and it's grew day by day. Whereras french bean abit different. Even though, it grew the fastest, but their stem aren't strong. Eventually I placed 4 sticks to allow the stems to vine round it, and string to secure it to the stem, also to prevent it from constantly falling apart.
Whenever there's strong wind, all the stems start to fall apart, a few even broke. Heart-broken, I tied string around the sticks to keep all the stems within it.....
My cherry tomatoe isn't making any progress, abit disheartening...I'm still waiting to see how it's progress, perhaps I might get it replaced with flower...
We shall wait a week more...I dont't wish to disappoint Dinah. She's eager about this plant project. In fact, all participate in helping me...It's really educational....

Cherry tomatoes no progress...but others...
My cherry tomatoe is not making any progress. I told my girls we shall we give it another week or two by then if it's not grown, we shall grow flower instead.
I hoped that the seeds have not been drowned by me, but french beans and fairy rose are growing well everyday.
Yesterday was raining too heavily, that it's snapped some of my french beans' stems to 2. I was sad, my effort. It's kinda worry me.
Fairy rose so far so good...French beans grow the fastest but fair bit of problem...I bought 2 long sticks, and placed it with the french beans. I suspects that it vine around sticks, not the normal plants we see.
Since it's harmless, I just placed it there, and monitor their progress. I don't wish to disappoint my girls...

Doubts...

Evening came home, pleased to see our plants grew so robust, but I've some doubts. I don't know if the french bean need stick for its stem to twine on or it's like normal plant. Cos they all start to face toward certain direction and their stem seems soft and not upright.
They grow the fastest and best, but stem seem weird.
So I shifted the pots position, hoping that they will get more sunlight. Perhaps, I should search more info regarding our plants and how they grow.
Till now cherry tomatoes still no progress, start to wonder is it been flooded thus can't grow, or what........
Never give up, start reading up......

Plant Project - Beginning
I started planting again.....I don't think my plant will die again this time round......I'm caution and more prepared at least that what I thought to be......
I dare not add fertiliser, scared it will die......
My previous attempt add fertiliser and my chilli plant die next day, never even give me a chance to carry out rescue mission.
Sunday (12/10/08), me and Dinah went to NTUC to buy groceries, we walked past flowering section, saw all the seeds. Dinah reminded me of her chilli plants which I've killed it, so to make up for it as well as a good lesson to show her it's ok to fail and overcome the failure, so we bought more seeds to try. We chose fairy rose, cherry tomato and french beans.
Dinah kept remind me not to buy fertiliser, worried I might get the plants kill again........
We were excited of planting again.......Happily carried everything home, after dinner, I cleared the old soil and sow the seeds......
Few days passed, and we are still anticipating to see our plants grow......Even though still soil, but patience is the key......I'm eager to pluck my first veg and flowers...........Better consult expert (neighbour) to ensure no screw up this time round.....................
