Botanic Garden Trip
Last evening (01/02/09), I brought the girls to Botanic Garden (Children playground). It's a last minute decision. I woke up from my afternoon nap and realised that the girls should enjoy themselves on their off day.
Initially, I was thinking of River "Ang Bao", but I shrugged off the idea, due to the crowds. We packed and changed the girls clothings.
We reached our destination around 5pm. The girls quickly dashed for the playground. They kicked off their shoes and off they ran. Fortunately, I have Cora to help me looking after the girls, so I could enjoy catching up on my magazine.
After an hour of continuous playing, Dinah decided to take a walk around the park. We strolled leisurely while I pin-pointed different plants that is useful to human. We took photos along the way to evidence her pressence.
After the tour, I realised in the future I should bring a scape book along for them to collect different types of leaves and record down their names. It's a indirect, educational and fun way to teach them new things along the ways.
They are lots to use from our environment to teach the girls new things, be it Maths, English or Science. The plus side they enjoy what they learn, and that's the most important.
