Friday (15/05/09), my colleagues and I went to watch the movie Angel & Demon from the novel by Dan Brown.
My colleagues were laughing at me, as I’m scared of blood and violent scenes so I kept using my shawl to cover my eyes. Timid as I sound, but I rather not watch all the bloody or mutilated scenes, else I might suffer from sleepless nights......
I learned from them they missed out certain key details in the novel eg. The secret pope carried and I don’t think it’s wised to put it in. It a sensitive issue, but I believed the author is very courageous to keep on touching on sensitive topic like religious.
This round slightly different from Da Vinci Code in a sense, it focus more on the succession of Pope, whereas in Da Vinci Code too much have been focus on the truth behind Jesus.
I presumed this movie will not be a favourite for the Roman Catholic. To me, it’s a very fictional story so I don’t bother to question the authencity of the plot......
Finally my conclusion of the movie is still fine; the good part of the movie is it does manage to keep audience in suspense till the end.
