Saturday (04/07/09), my brother gave me 6 tickets for the NDP rehearsal. I went with the girls as well as my mother.
It was packed with people. We could hardly move. After some hovering and pushing, we got our goodies bags, and found seats.
The show wasn’t that attractive except the firework. Naomi enjoyed the most. Natasha dozed off at the most spectaculating moments (the firework). Dinah seems expressionless except during the marching part and the flying performance by the SAF.
Overall, I wouldn’t want to go for the actual NDP. I’m just so uncomfortable with people squeezing one another, and cramping under the hot sun just to watch performance.
Even getting home became a chore, an arduous journey, I would say. I still prefer to stay in the comfort of my home, and watch live telecast.
