Sunday (26/10/08) morning, I brought Natasha to National Museum of S'pore alone. Dinah and Naomi aren't with me. They went to Sunday School with Aaron's parent.
It was Cora's off day. I've no intention of bringing the girls to church. Natasha's still unwell. I doubted she will pass her check-up. I presumed they knew I'm not going to bring them to church, thus Aaron's father asked to bring them instead.
I agreed. After they left, I felt hungry and decided to go out for breakfast, meanwhile thinking of where to go instead of staying whole day at home. I rather go out for a while, then not at all It was bored. So we left aimlessly. Reached J8, I wanted to eat at toast box, but it was full. Looked around, I decided to go for MacDonald.
But it was packed too. While looking for seats, I spotted Dinah. She's surprised, so do I. I thought they have left for church. I did not sit with them, but I managed to find a seat at the "alfresco".
I carried Natasha to buy food and saw them. It was awkward but minimized the obviousness.
I left and kissed them goodbye after finishing the breakfast. I stood at the MRT Station, thinking next itinerary. Somewhere not crowded and suitable for both of us.
Then museum came to me. It has been several years I been there. It's educational and not crowded at all.
With all in mind, I headed there. It looked different from my memory. Natasha was excited too. I paid for my ticket, but she's complimentary.
I eagerly anticipated to view everything, but Natasha abit unaware of what's going on. I guessed more like the mother who enjoy the trip.
It was a long walk down, and dark. I was scared. I'm terrified of dark. Cracking sound can be heard upon entering. It's looked eerie.
I regretted my itinerary. I wanted to turn back, but I paid for it. I mustered my courage and carried on. At least, I have Natasha with me. She's calmed and composed. I tried to explain as much as I can to her for what we see.
Initially, she is attentive and curious, gradually she's became bored and restless. I tried to cut short viewing everything.
We left 2 hours later, rushing home. She's tired and cranky. She cried all the way to City Hall Station, then dozed off. It was peace for now.
When we reached home, as usual, she's energetic again. There goes my plan to nap. Overall it was interesting to see S'pore history.
