Last night while on the MRT back home, I'm brain-storming method to teach Dinah her addition. I realised instead of forcing her to understand my ways, why not I tried another method that is easier for her to gasp. I don't want to kill her interest in Math.
Since I show her normal method but she can't understand, and get confused, I must think another way easier for her to understands. Finally I think of tic-tac-toe, and it help Dinah to remembers. My effort was not in vain. Once she grasps the concepts, she's more eager to try harder questions, and bigger number. Now for the time being her addition can be considered success, slowly move to subtraction.
For Dinah, I can't rush, else she will be nervous and forget everything...
