Saturday (07/03/09), we celebrated papa's birthday. Again it's at Blk 43. Our initial plan was to go Palau Ubin but the weather seems threatening so we changed to United Square (Soup Restaurant), but still papa worried for the kids so go Blk 43.
The kids all wished papa happy birthday and all enjoyed a joyous dinner. But the girls kept pestering for birthday cake. Their mentality is birthday must have a birthday cake, but papa doesn't like to eat cake leh, else would have buy for him already.
After much explaning, I gave up. At mum's place, the girls got their attention diverted to toys, cos mum bought them new toys. While, they happily played with their newfound attraction, I get to chat with mum.
Even though there isn't a birthday cake to mark papa's birthday (for the girls), but we did enjoy ourselves having simple fare. It's definitely not something money can buy............
