I finished reading this book on the 23/03/09. It was the historical events happening in France involving Germans invasion.
It talked about French govt. role in the war and what kind of role are they playing. Somehow I personally don't approve the way their govt. handle this issue. It caused too much distress for the civilians, especially the peasants.
I believed the govt. would have learn from their past mistakes. I wouldn't really introduce reading this book, unless you are studying history or very interested in history, else you might be bored by the story.
I would say it's too much like a lesson from history, but I enjoyed nevertheless.......Since I liked history, then this book suit me personally.
Even though I moght not agree with their way of doing thing, but it's good to read anyway......
