Yesterday afternoon went for the complimentary makeover for my family. I was skeptical initially and kept asking for any hidden costs.
Eventually they assured me there won’t be any hidden costs, and neither would I need to pay for package. So it’s absolutely free!
But of course, I would expect them to push me to buy their album or get additional photos (only free 2). This is a gimmick too good to be true and it’s their way to push up sales.
Nevertheless, I went along despite knowing the undisclosed tactics, as I brought Dinah for a complimentary makeover too and I were very insistent not signing up any packages.
I’m fully aware of my budget constrain and wouldn’t like to spend on un-necessity. Besides, I don’t really like my hairstyle. It made me overly-mature. My girls’ makeovers were a success, and they do look splendid.
We spent almost 3 hours to complete and took approximately 30 photographs. It did look tempting to take all the pictures but I do not want to let the temptation to burn a hole in my savings. After all I have a “luxury” brand (MDIS) to pay.
Just to add in, Aaron also went for the makeover. We were kind of distance and the atmosphere was tense and unnatural. In fact, he was very grumpy and irritable.
As unpredictable as he can be, when we reached home, he was normal again, talking to me. While the girls were asleep at home, he had a good talk with me, regarding our marriage.
Eventually, we came to a settlement, details can be spared, so temporarily thing considered to be settled.
Now with 1 less worry, I can concentrate better on my upcoming exam………
