Yesterday went to watch “Terminator Salvation” with Weiching at The Grand Cathy. It was a last minute plan.
Initially, I did arrange to meet her, but I thought Cora will be off so I cancel the meeting. But last minute, Cora off day has been changed, so I’m free yesterday. So I decided to go ahead with the meeting.
We met early afternoon, hoping to catch an early slot, as we wanted to meet up with Baohui and Baozhen for dinner, but left with the 7.05pm slot.
Disappointed, we have to cancel with them regarding the dinner. Since the show started in the evening, we have plenty of time left. We went to Ben & Jerry for some relaxation, and then we went to PS shopping.
It was great to meet up with her. I think it has been sometime since we met, due to our busy schedules. We talked almost everything under the sun. She told me about her internship at the community centre. It was interesting to know thing how they plan for an event. It’s something outsider would not know. So nice to joke and gossip plus the shopping factor, even though I never buy anything, but it feels good to just shop around, browsing through the pretty clothes.
We left PS around 5+ for dinner. She brought me to Paradiz centre for dinner. There’s a Japanese concept food court at either level 4 or 5. I still thought it was a restaurant, but it’s a food court.
All the stalls sell Japanese foods. Everything looks very tempting. We almost wanted to order all for sampling but we settled down for Ramen first. Thank god never order others, as we filled full after the ramen. The food court is rather idyllic great for appreciating our food and chat for a while.
Almost 7pm, we left to catch our show. The show was confusing towards the end, but nice to watch the hunks. In between, there were scenes that are a bit disgusting, I was covering my eyes and she’s covering her ears. When the show ended, I found her tearing. Indeed she cried easily.
Overall, the show was nice just too gross when the machines came out to exterminate human traces. Perhaps I’m too timid thus unable to tolerate all the shooting and killing………
