This morning, Dinah woke up and gave me a shock. Her left eye was swollen. Poor girl, she can hardly open her left eye. I was battling whether to bring her to see doctor myself, in the end I decided to do so personally.
We did not wait long before it was our turn. The doctor examined her and said she has an eye infection again. Apparently, Dinah is very prompt to eye infection especially her left eye. The doctor gave her antibiotic cream for her infection, and we left. Thank god, it’s not contagious, and nothing to be worried of.
Shortly after, we left to the childcare. I have an agreement with Dinah, that she will wait at the childcare for Cora to come (Naomi & Natasha are still at home). While walking, I asked Dinah to rest a day at home, but she refused. She argued that it will be boring for her, and she wanted to be with her friends. I relented.
Despite my agreement to her going to school, but I’m still concerned, thus I called her form teacher, and informed her of Dinah’s condition. If her condition worsened, her form teacher will contact me immediately, and I asked her to excused Dinah if she is unable to concentrate. Since she’s relying on her right eye for focus, so it can be quite a burden for her the other eye.
Prayed that god’s hand is upon Dinah, and blessed her speedy recovery…………

Wednesday (01/07/09) evening, while walking home with Naomi & Natasha, we had a little chat.
As usual, I asked Naomi her day in the childcare. All of a sudden, Naomi told me that her friend (Chew Long) said he doesn’t miss his parents. I was taken aback. I asked her why he doesn’t miss his parents. She replied that he misses her (Naomi). I found it hilarious but at the same time worrying. We continued our conversation, and I asked her why Chew Long misses you, and she replied was “I love you”. I wondered is this a cause for worry.
Nowadays kids really are amazing, and I told Naomi that loving your friends is good but no touchy allowed, as she’s a big girl now. She understood.
I don’t think I would want to make an issue out of it. As long as the line is cleared, I don’t wish to give Naomi unnecessary fear. I want to maintain our closeness and her willingness to share information with me.
Personally nothing is more blissful to have my girls growing healthy and strong, with lots of love shower upon them……………...
