Parent meeting with Naomi's teacher.......

Saturday (18/07/09), I happened to know that Naomi’s teacher was at work so I dropped by the childcare and talked about the missed Parent meeting supposed to be on Thursday (16/07/09).

I was busy last week with my Term 1 exam which was on 13/07/09, 15/07/09 & 17/07/09, thus I was preoccupied that I forgot about the meeting.

Fortunately, the childcare isn’t as stringent as primary school. The teacher told me that Naomi academic is good. Chew Long, Jolyn and her are one of the best in class and she will always assign them to weaker group. Naomi will always be assign to new classmate as she has the charm to make them feel comfortable. Perhaps she’s friendly, I don’t know but the teacher mentioned that friends like being with her.

I’m glad to hear that nonetheless. I don’t have much worry regarding her academic but I expressed my concern that Chew Long and she are too close. The teacher told me that once Naomi doesn’t want to be his friend and he’s so heartbroken that he cried so pathetically. The teacher has to intervene and get Naomi to befriend him.

I find that very comical but at the same time amazed that they are that close. Our talk mainly circle about Naomi and her classmates, since there’s nothing much to talk regarding her works progress.

Apparently, Naomi is very well-liked by her peer, and she has shown leadership qualities, as I learned from her teacher (Teacher Queenie) that she would initiate role play and such. I was amazed.

I realized that my 3 girls are all unique in their own ways, but they all share one common thing that is vocal. They belong to the vocal group – expressive and extrovert.
