I finished reading this book on 24/07/09 (Friday). It’s a sequel to One Child.
After a separation of 7 years, Torey reconnected to Sheila. By now, she was a 14 years old teenager.
Gradually, Torey felt they have became distanced and tried to build the bond. She got Sheila to help in her clinic as helper.
Slowly, they picked up where they left from, but with lots of up and down in between.
Torey also found out the lives of Sheila during those 7 years. Together they embarked on a journey similar to previous except with more emotional upheaval as Sheila has grown up and no longer the 6 years old girl.
With Torey encouragement, Sheila continued her studies but she did not further to university, and started working in fast food restaurant.
The last time, Torey heard about her – Sheila wrote that she has her own apartment and was doing very well, except for her relationship with guys……
