Dinah's dismay........

Just few hours ago, I brought Dinah and Naomi to J8 with the intention to buy bookmark.

Dinah got a book for her graduation, and she wanted a bookmark to keep track where she read. I agreed.

Since Natasha's asleep, I brought Naomi along only. After she chose her bookmark from Precious Thots, we went to Toast Box for light meal.

While we were eating, Dinah reminded me to buy groceries for church donation. Actually, our church is helping Boy Bridage to get donations of foods for needy families. Dinah's sunday class requested each of them to bring 4 items to donate.

So I decided since it's for a good cause and Dinah remembered, I might as well treat it as a lesson for Dinah. I want her to know how fortunate she is.

She chose all the 4 items, and I made payments. While walking home, Dinah has a changed of mind. She asked if we could keep the items, instead of donating.

I tried explaining to her, but to no avail. I knew she wouldn't listen in, so I left it alone. She's unhappy, and throughout the journey, she explicitly showed her dismay. I ignored her.

I don't want to fuel more anger. Even till we reached home, she's still grumpy. I tried explaing nicely again, but she refused to accept.

Eventually I decided, we shall leave this topic till tomorrow after she has a good night rest. I suspect she's tired from today concert. She's probably wore off her energy, so despite my best to explain, she seems grumpy. A grumpy child, is a stuborn child.

I believe tomorrow Dinah will be more receptive of my explanation.
