Mummy's Birthday....

Friday (06/02/09) is mum actual birthday, but we celebrated for her on Sat, where my brother will be out from camp.

It's not a fancy celebration. We went to coffeshop and enjoyed "zhi ca" (my father treat). My brother bought a cake (too big), and I gave her ang bao.

It's a simple celebration but it warmed my mum's heart. She told me fri, my father also treats her to dinner (a gesture I believed touched my mum).

The girls was so happy blowing the candles that it's appeared to be their birthday rather than my mum. Nontheless, my mum did not mind, and they all enjoyed the evening.

Dinah was so eager to wish her grandmother happy birthday, that she's bursted outright when she saw her. Dinah explained that she wanted to call on fri to wish her happy birthday, but she realise that she doesn't has her numbers, and she worried that I'm busy working to bother me.

My mum was beaming when she learned it. I was touched by Dinah's thoughtfulness, and proud of her too....

We left around 8+pm. While waiting for the bus, Natasha caught sight of a dog. She was excited. Her love for animals, dogs expecially is amazing, yet funny.

She left us to go after the dog, and started stroking its. The owner gracefully allowed Natasha to play with her dog named Monty. Shortly, Dinah and Naomi followed. They are more cautious when approached Monty. Natasha was more natural.

It's interesting to see them playing with Monty. The owner was amused by Natasha, and vice versa. The owner comment Natasha can speaks very well and I'm thankful for it.

Natasha was so reluctance to leave when the bus arrived, and I have to cajole her. During the journey, a group of ladies boarded the bus, and Natasha started talking to them.

For her chattiness (I guess), one of the lady gave her a packet of chocolate, which she happily accepted. We reached our destination and thanked their kind gesture.

Throughout the journey home, Natasha was happily enjoying and sharing that packet of chocolate with Dinah and Naomi.

Saturday was a joyous occassion for all of us, but I forgot to buy pop sticks for our homemade juice pops, and Dinah was greatly disappointed by it. I guessed better remember to buy, else Dinah will nag at me constantly.......
