Natasha 3rd Birthday

Yesterday was Natasha’s 3 years old birthday. I took leave to spend time alone with her. I actually planned to take her to kidzworld at the zoo, but the weather wasn’t in our favor. I then have a few ideas in mind but none really worked. It was either the opening time or the price that was not ideal.

Eventually we went to ION Orchard and shopped. It’s an eye opening for her and she could go home for her nap. She is more fascinated with the computerized under water world then the shops itself.

We strolled briefly and went to Junction 8 for our lunch before heading home for her nap. I wanted to ensure she is well rested for the evening celebration with Sharon and Kenny. At her age, without sufficient rest they can get a bit uncooperative.

Thank god, I abandon my excursion planned as the weather was really bad in the afternoon.

In the evening 7.30pm, we met Sharon and Kenny for dinner at Swensen. After our dinner, we went to their newly renovated matrimonial flat (at Bishan too) for Natasha’s birthday celebration.

Their house is modern and simple with a touch of sophistication. The girls are very excited exploring every corner and rooms. Finally Kenny switched on the TV and allowed them to play with his games and also watching cartoon.

The most exciting moment was opening presents for the girls. It kind of sweets of Sharon to prepare presents for Dinah & Naomi. She is the only one whom I feel never ostracize Dinah and I.

We left the place around 10.30pm, taking into consideration that we have to work and study the next day. Overall I would say Natasha has an enjoyable day….

As for her grandparents, we celebrated on Saturday (22/08/09) at Swensen United Square. It seems to be a family tradition to have their birthday cakes at Swensen and especially United Square. On Sunday (23/08/09), their grandmother bought for them toys with Natasha having the privilege of an additional toy.

This year Natasha has a lot of Barbie dolls, as all of them gave her that or Barbie’s clothing as presents. I’m glad everyone make her birthday truly special……….
