D&D Partner

Yesterday we received the invitation for our company D&D. We all indicate not bringing any partners.
All of a sudden, afternoon, our office manager sent us a yahoo message requested us to bring our spouse/partner/whatever to make up to 50 peoples. We joked with her what does her whatever mean.
We tried asking if we can bring gal friends but she indicated unless we are lesbian, implying our partners should be of the opposite sex. I presumed it's because of the ambience of the restaurant. The location will be at Mount Faber (Jewel Box) with snow scene and sceneric cable car ride.
It would be romantic for couple. But there's one problem, those singles going to have problem finding partners.
So we changed our MSN comment, "broadcast" candidate. Interesting idea. Eventually I find a partner. I asked Rudy to be my partner. Thank goodness, he's free and agreed to go, and that settled my partner search......
I can imagine the place must be nice, with fantastic view.......
